OUR ROOTS

The Gynecologic Ultrasound Society is a new collaborative and inclusive society focused on improving diagnostic gynecologic ultrasound for those affected by gynecologic diseases. The North American chapter is the first geographic region represented and will lead the way.

Our mission is to improve gynecologic health through education, advocacy, and the advancement of gynecologic ultrasound for diagnostic and prognostic purposes. 

We intend to act as a liaison to other like-minded societies including International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology, Association of American Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, Canadian Society of Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy, Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada, and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
